I-Stream Video Server Specifications
I-Stream Video Server - Professional video server end software, from which, cameras and client users are managed. It is used to communicate with I-Stream Video Players, Servers, Conference and Broadcast Centres. It can control and record 16 cameras and unlimited number of connections and users.

Video Quality : A near DVD quality at 25fps with the resolution of 768x576 is achievable at 1Mbps bandwidth. A video quality of 25fps with the resolution of 512x384 needs 384 Kbps bandwidth. An average TV grade video quality is achievable at 256 kbps.

Voice Communication: All effort has been endeavoured to achieve a smooth audio signal flow with the I-Stream CODEC technology. The delay is generally controlled at < 0.2 second.

Hardware Requirement: A PC with Celeron 600 CPU running windows 98 or later version may meet the basic requirement. 20G hard disk space is sufficient to keep the last whole week (24 hours, 7 days) recording on the First-in-First-out (FIFO) basis.

Mobility (Free Global Roaming): I-Stream system can be used anywhere around the world as long as you have the network access, be it LAN or WAN.

Multi-windows Display : Support multi-mode display including "OVERLAY" and "RGB", etc. One PC may visit multi-site simultaneously (virtually no limit at all).

Video Adjustment : Easy camera control: from server end, a user-friendly interface is designed to adjust Contrast, Brightness, Saturation, Resolution simply by "drag and set".

Expandability : Up to 16 video equipment (Surveillance/conference cameras, Household TV, video camera, recorder, professional video cameras with AV or S output) can be connected. Pan-Tilt-Zoom functions are standard.

Record and Replay : Two basic recording modes are standard: Manual : Record a section as you go. Records are filed and named sequentially in line with the recording time for easy search and replay. Automatic : Continual recording round the clock, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Replay with adjustable speed for quick search and review.
